My First Week at UNO

My first week at UNO has been an exciting experience. I have meet new people who are wonderful to be around, nice, and compassionate to one another. In my English class we have the chance to speak our minds about what we feel about the culture that we live in, race, and about the book that we are reading now Dreams From My Father by Barack Obama.
Ms. Helen is an awesome teacher. She gives us a chance to speak our minds and write on paper. I like that we can write down our life story without being judged by others. The English class is on a different level form high school. I like to be challenged and this is the class is a CHALLENGE MASTER. We listen and respect other opinions even though we disagree.
I have learned about the scholarships that are avaliable to me, even though i might a low ACT and SAT score. I am shooting for the Regence scholarship because I don't want to pay for college, because I'm very frugle with money. I'm very excited about this program because I can experience the college life and have others around me who are shooting towards the same goal as mine.
